Jason J. Lami
Managing Partner

Mr. Lami is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Maya Capital Partners, LLC (MCP). Along with his partner, Mr. Lami is responsible for managing existing investments, sourcing and negotiating new investment opportunities, raising equity capital, and growing the MCP platform.

Mr. Lami previously held a position at Arbor Realty Trust, Inc., as a Director of the firm’s commercial mortgage backed securities lending platform. In his capacity, he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and closing commercial real estate loans across all major property types. Mr. Lami led the closing of self-storage, multifamily, retail and hotel transactions. Prior to joining Arbor Realty Trust, Mr. Lami held positions at Standard and Poor’s and Summerline Asset Management.

Mr. Lami is a graduate of the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.

Samir M. Mistry
Managing Partner


Mr. Mistry is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of MCP. Mr. Mistry shares in the responsibilities of growing the platform and portfolio, while also managing day-to-day operations at all facilities under ownership.

For the last 9+ years, Mr. Mistry has been employed in various roles in the real estate finance industry, primarily focused on commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS). Most recently, Mr. Mistry was a Director at MC Five Mile Commercial Mortgage Finance where he analyzed, underwrote and structured over $650MM of commercial mortgage loans on self-storage, multifamily, office, retail and manufactured housing properties. Prior to his role at MC Five Mile, Mr. Mistry held positions at New York Life, Deloitte Consulting and Standard & Poor’s.

Mr. Mistry is a graduate of Boston College and the New York University Stern School of Business.

Ryan M. Carroll
Vice President


Mr. Carroll is Vice President at MCP and oversees property management of the existing portfolio and the day-to-day operations of MCP.  Mr. Carroll is also responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and capital raising efforts for new investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Maya Capital Partners, Mr. Carroll founded RMC Enterprises. A holding company that specialized in mobile application development as well as sports merchandise sales nationally. Mr. Carroll is a graduate of the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University where he was a four year member of the Baseball team.
